Question: Do I Need More Than 1 Lightroom Preset Pack?

Written by Sasha Bell

One of the most frequently asked questions we get is “Do I need more than 1 Lightroom Preset Pack?” So here is our answer!

The Lightroom Presets we use always varies depending on what time of year it is and of course what subject we are photographing, for example, some of our presets look great on portraits while others look better for jump photographs.

Finding the perfect preset for every subject isn’t always easy, so we like to have a wide range of Lightroom Presets to choose from so we can be sure to process them the best way possible, in this case.

By not having a full range of presets, you therefore limit the results of the photograph, either with the processing style, colours, range of lighting effects, and so much more.

The reason we have a large range of presets, is because every photograph is different – and therefore, no “one” preset will work on every photograph – but if we have, say a large variety of presets, the ratio is much better, giving you several options and styles.

Are you wondering which Lightroom presets we used to photograph these photographs?

The 1st left photograph was processed with the Rainbow Lightroom Preset

The 2nd right photograph was processed with the Whipped Cream Lightroom Preset

The 3rd left photograph was processed with the Whipped Cream Lightroom Preset

The 4th right photograph was processed with the Natural Colours Lightroom Preset
